Águilas will receive about 7,000 euros to fight against gender violence under the State Pact against Gender Violence approved by the Government of the Nation.

An amount that - assured the mayor of the area, Isabel María Torrente - will result in an improvement in the attention to victims of gender violence as well as for the implementation of prevention and awareness programs.

On the other hand, the mayor has indicated that the Community will reinforce the CAVI Network, which will allow Águilas to increase the staff of the Center for Attention to Victims of Gender Violence.
