The councilman of the Municipal People's Group, Francisco Navarro, feels satisfied when he succeeds in bringing forward the proposal presented to the ordinary September plenary.
He also regretted the lack of support from the aquiline socialists for this initiative, who did not know how to give a coherent explanation for not supporting this motion.
The mayor, explains that both the Government Team of Mari Carmen Moreno and the Mixed Group have not wanted to openly support the proposal, which would go against the decision announced by the Minister of Ecological Transition, Teresa Ribera, apologizing that they are questions of national policy that should not be debated in the municipal plenary session since they do not directly affect the aquilines.
From the popular municipal group we think that abstention at this point corresponds more to issues of political discipline so as not to disobey the national guidelines set by Pedro Sánchez.
We appreciate that with this proposal we can add support so that the Socialist Party does not carry out this rise with the negative effects it would have for the economy and for thousands of transporters, small self-employed and SMEs.
