This weekend, the esplanade of the Fishing Port of Águilas became the setting for the Brotherhood Mass, presided over by the Bishop of Cartagena, José Manuel Lorca, which ended a program of activities that have been developing during all year for the X Anniversary of the Brotherhood and the XXX of the Romería in Águilas.
Prior to this campaign mass, the image of the Simpecado walked in procession through the streets of Águilas in an extraordinary outing in which it was also accompanied by the Christ of the Agony, a carving usually performed on the early morning of Holy Thursday.
Brotherhoods from different parts of the Spanish geography wanted to accompany the Aquiline Brotherhood in this festive day in which, as usual in the pilgrim encounters, there was no shortage of salvos to the Blanca Paloma intoned by the Rociero de Águilas Choir.
