Ciudadanos Águilas through its Secretary Domingo López, has presented, with the urgency that the problem required, written so that the Mayor admits in point 17 - Extraordinary Matters, Urgent Motions - of the agenda of the Plenary to be held on Tuesday 29, a Motion related to recent and unpleasant episodes of discomfort caused by smoke coming from agricultural burning.
Specifically, for possible health and health problems that may arise from breathing the smoke from these fires, which could even contain traces of toxic substances, should ask the Ministry of Health to act.
As for the actual burns, the training calls for farmers to be allowed to dispose of these residues that could be used for composting, obtaining energy or manufacturing biofuels.
It must be avoided, in any case, that the fumes from these fires invade the urban area.
The formation hopes that the Socialist Government Team will not look the other way and this Motion will be approved that should have the support of the other Municipal Groups given the importance of avoiding, not only the inconvenience caused by breathing this smoke, but the possible problems of health that could be derived.
