The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, recently visited the students who are participating in the training program aimed at obtaining the Certificate of Professionalism in Health Care for People in the Home;

a course that since last week is being developed in Águilas and from which 15 people from the locality are benefiting.

During his visit, Moreno, who could see first-hand the interest of student-participants, stressed the importance "of betting on training as a way to facilitate labor inclusion in an increasingly competitive market."

This certificate of professionalism, 480 hours of training plus 120 hours of professional practice, will accredit, once passed the evaluations, the training of the participants for the development of their work as caregivers of people at home.

It is important to note that this certificate of professionalism is official and is valid to work as caregivers of people at home throughout the national territory.

The action, with an amount of 37,440 euros, has been subsidized by the Regional Employment and Training Service and co-financed by the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Social Security, the European Social Fund and the City of Águilas.
