The Local Police of Águilas and the staff of the Municipal Sports Center have received a course on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use of the defibrillator.
During the course, it was shown how to perform CPR for children over one year of age, as well as adults.
Basic concepts such as chest compressions, opening of airways, administration of breaths and the understanding-ventilation relationship were worked on, while the defibrillator management was made known.
It should be remembered that since 2016, the City Council has been betting on making Águilas a cardioprotected municipality that has not only defibrillators but also accredited staff to make good use of them.
