More than sixty people, among whom were the local mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the local development councilor, Ginés Desiderio Navarro, participated yesterday in the path of the Baladre Trail, recently included in the Natural Trails Network of Eagles.
The Natural Paths of Eagles Network is a project launched by the City Council in order to revalue the natural environment of our municipality offering a total of seven trails that have been conditioned, marked and included in the catalogs of hiking of the Mountaineering Federation of the Region of Murcia and the Cities that Walk Project.
It should be noted that the work to develop the design of the network of trails, as well as in the tasks of cleaning and adaptation of urban and peri-urban sections and in the achievement of the different permits that have been necessary to carry out this project have been carried out by Participants of the Local Public Employment Program "Inventory, conditioning and improvement of a network of nature trails, their environments and other areas of interest in the municipality of Águilas, Phase I", launched by the Local Development Department .
In addition to the official signage that has been installed in each of the trails included in this network, 5,000 brochures have been published with detailed information on each of the trails, their difficulty and the estimated time of travel.
