More than 2,200 students of 4th of ESO and 1st of Bachillerato met on Tuesday at the XI Meeting of Catholic Religion Students;
an annual meeting, organized by the Teaching Delegation of the Diocese of Cartagena, attended by students from 43 schools throughout the Region of Murcia.
A day of coexistence in which they enjoyed "a very good day of reflection and meeting, of activities and of knowing Águilas", comments José Ruiz, delegate of Teaching.
The meeting began with an institutional act, which was attended by the mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, and, subsequently, a reception party took place in the esplanade of the auditorium Infanta Elena de Águilas where the showman Edu Mambo was in charge of animating to young people.
Afterwards, groups of students were able to carry out various activities scheduled throughout the morning and afternoon in the city: visits to the Interpretation Center of the Sea, the Archaeological Museum and the Roman baths;
boat ride on the bay and, in addition, they could know the work that Caritas develops in this municipality.
