This morning the IX edition of Águilas de Tapas was presented, an initiative organized by HosteÁguilas with the collaboration of Águilas City Council, during an event in which the mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, the councilor for Tourism, were present , Ginés Desiderio Navarro, and the treasurer of the Hotel and Tourism Association of Águilas, Miguel Vallecillo.
In this edition, the route of the tapa will last 17 consecutive days, until next December 9, during which citizens and visitors can enjoy the succulent gastronomic tour tasting a total of 20 tapas in ten restaurants, plus of three desserts in different establishments with a cost of 2.50 euros the cover accompanied by a fifth Levante Star.
As in previous editions, the professional jury will determine the best tapa of Águilas de Tapas and the selected establishment will be awarded with an award to exhibit at its premises;
In addition, as a novelty, the First Gastronomic Photography Contest has been launched with an economic prize of 200 euros.
Everyone who wants to apply for the prize should take a photo and send it with the author's name to info@hosteaguilas.com, HosteÁguilas will upload them to their social networks (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter).
The photo that I like the most in a social network will be the winner of the contest.
The establishment of the winning photo will also be rewarded with the "Best Photographed Top 2018" award.
