From the Department of New Technologies of the City of Águilas report that, after the problems perceived in recent weeks in relation to the television signal, whose image is received pixelated in many of the aquiline receivers, the City of Águilas requested Cota, company maintainer of the locality, a review of said repeaters.
After the exhaustive checks, Cota determined that the repeaters of the municipality, whose maintenance depends on the Consistory, work correctly, so the problem was referred to Retevisión, the company in charge of transmitting the signal, which is the one that currently, together with the Directorate Telecommunications General, is working to solve the problem.
On this matter, the edile of New Technologies, Tomás Consentino, has indicated that "although the solution to this problem is not municipal competition, it has already been proven that our repeaters work correctly, from the Department we have urged the General Directorate of Telecommunications to give a solution to this situation as soon as possible ".
