The Councilors of Equality and Commerce, Isabel María Torrente and Encarna Navarro, delivered yesterday afternoon diplomas to short films in micro-audiovisual format winners of the "Short with violence" contest and the I Contest of Illustrations for the Announcing poster of the "Corto con la Violencia 2019" contest, in which students from the IES Rey Carlos III schools, IES Alfonso Escámez, IES Europa and Carlos V, organized by the Municipal Center for Women-Cavi of the City Council, participated. Águilas, on the occasion of the commemoration of the International Day for the elimination of violence against women.
During the ceremony, the participation of all the students was appreciated and they were given a ticket to the cinema in recognition of the work done.
In the VIII Contest "Short with violence" audiovisual micro-narrative format have established two categories of participation, Category I, which includes students of second cycle of secondary, basic training and middle-level training, which have participated and another denominated Category II, for bachelor and formation of superior degree, having been presented in the Category I a total of 8 works and in the Category II a total of 13.
The winning audiovisual micro-stories were the following:
For Category I:
First prize: "The correct option" made by students of the Carlos V school, Andrea Carrillo, José Antonio Asensio, Alejandro Carrasco, Alejandro Cano, José Manuel Muñoz and Sebastián Vera.
For Category II:
First prize: "Good morning" by students from IES Europe, Marta Gómez María del Mar García, Cristina López, Sara Martínez, Francisco Giménez, Maivy Ortega, Evelyn Pérez and Alejandro Santana.
Second Prize: "I am not different" made by students of the IES Rey Carlos III, Neda Pearce, Xin Cheng, Pilar Martínez, Isla and Víctor.
The prize for the I Contest of Illustrations for the Announcing Poster of the contest "Corto con la Violencia 2019" was delivered to Francisco Manuel Santos of the Carlos V School, thus being the winner of the first edition of this contest to which a total of 44 works
