Last Friday an act was organized by the Department of Equality of the City Council of the town that met in the Plaza de España to about fifty people, including the mayor of the town, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of Equality, Isabel María Torrente, under the chords of Nombre, song that India Martínez dedicated to all women who suffer mistreatment.

To commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, a manifesto was read by women belonging to local associations, in which, once again, it was requested that this social scourge be addressed as a matter of State.
