Last weekend the activities programmed by the Patronato Musical Aguileño Francisco Diaz Romero concluded with the mass in honor of Santa Cecilia, patron of the musicians.
Traditional religious ceremony, in which the Board of Trustees acted, in the parish of San José attended by a large number of local musicians as well as representatives of the municipal corporation, including the mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of Culture, Lucía Hernández.
On Friday, the Auditorium and Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions Infanta Doña Elena hosted the extraordinary concert of Santa Cecilia by the Symphonic Band of the Aguileño Musical Board under the direction of Juan Rojo and Ginés Ramírez.
This concert was commemorative for the 40th anniversary of the official presentation of the Music Band of the Aguileño Musical Board.
During the ceremony, which lasted for almost two hours of excellent music that managed to put the large audience gathered there, diplomas were presented to new musicians who join this Band.
The musical repertoire as usual in the concerts offered by the Francisco Díaz Romero Musical Board closed with "Águilas, paradise of the Mediterranean".
