Last 11 December, the seventh "FEAFES en corto" film festival took place in the regional film library "Francisco Rabal" of the Murcian capital, an initiative that aims to bring the world of cinema closer to people suffering from mental health problems and This year, more than 300 people from different associations in the region have participated.
AFEMAC participated with the short film "I am like you", a story that tackles without question the issue of social stigma towards this group.
The direction of the film has been borne by Benito Rabal, who has taught a workshop this year to users of our association in which he has worked in depth the process of making a film, studying and practicing all disciplines involved, such as production, script, props, interpretation and direction, among others.
Filming was in charge of "Libélula producciones", a company of recognized prestige.
The culmination of the day was the delivery of recognition awards to all participating associations.
