One more year the popular Roundabout of Eagles was filled yesterday with hundreds of schoolchildren who became the protagonists of the traditional Christmas Carols Contest, organized by the Councils of Education and Celebrations of the Águilas City Council with the collaboration of the Aguileño Musical Board, whose Youth Band was in charge of opening the act with an instrumental repertoire of Christmas music.
The young musicians of the Band School gave way to the Urci school that played North Pole Rock and Roll;
Mediterranean with Santa Claus arrived in the city;
Our Lady of Sorrows interpreting It's Christmas;
Carlos V with the carol of his own creation His voice;
Mary Immaculate with You would miss Christmas;
Las Lomas, in charge of putting on stage I give you a smile;
Joaquín Tendero with Vive le vent / Jingle bells;
and closing the event, Ramón y Cajal with Edelweis.
Before finalizing, the mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, the mayor of Festejos, Encarna Navarro, and the mayor of Education, Cristóbal Casado, gave the professors of the participating centers a trophy for their collaboration, as well as Eva Ortega for the presentation of the act.
