The Local Police of Águilas will soon have four new vehicles in its fleet.
The City Council has given its approval to the final award of the contract for the rental of said vehicles to the offer presented by DFM Rent a Car, a vehicle rental company in Murcia.
During the signing of the contract, which was attended by the mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the CEO of DFM Rent a Car, Isabel Sanchez, the mayor stressed that these cars will help improve the daily assistance offered by the Local Police in our locality emphasizing, in addition, that one of them will be endowed with a velolaser radar that will considerably facilitate the police work.
Also, as noted by the notice of resolution of this tender by the City of Águilas, DFM Rent a Car has offered free of charge for the Consistory the free transfer of a police drone that can be used by both the Local Police and technical services municipal.
The offer presented by DFM Rent a Car includes a lease of the four vehicles for four years, for a total amount of 196,080 euros;
during this period the winning company will be in charge of vehicle maintenance, tire replacement, taxes and insurance.
