The mayor of Pedanías, Luis López, along with the mayor of Festejos, Encarna Navarro, the pedbar of Tébar, Mariana Pérez, and the president of the neighbor association, Blas Carrasco, have presented the program of parties to be held in the hamlet the next weekend for the festivity of San Antonio Abad.
The activities will start on Saturday morning with a trekking route through Tebar, guided by the municipal archaeologist.
This activity will begin at 9 o'clock in the morning in Tébar's social room;
the registration of 5 euros will also entitle a lunch of crumbs, drinks and fruit at the end of the route.
It should be noted that the route, about 15 kilometers by a variant of the Ruta del Baladre, will include different stops during which explanations of the place will be carried out, as well as an environmental activity for the launching of seed bombs.
Saturday, January 19:
- At 9 o'clock guided hiking route by the municipal archaeologist.
- At 9:00 pm performance of comedian Carlos Berrocal.
- At 10 pm flamenco show by the cantaora Gema Jiménez.
Sunday, January 20:
- At 13 hours Eucharist and subsequent blessing of animals.
- At 14 hours auctions to carry the holy and solemn procession.
- At 15 hours rice and turkey (3 euros per person).
After the procession will take place the dance of bids, raffles and Easter prayers accompanied by the gang of the Cuesta de Gos.
