The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of Local Development, Ginés Desiderio Navarro, visited the participants of the new Joint Employment and Training Program, launched by the City of Águilas and aimed at young beneficiaries of the Youth Guarantee .
The program, called "Installation and maintenance of gardens and green areas of Águilas", has a grant from the Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF), co-financed by the ESF and the Ministry of Employment and Social Security, as well as an important contribution made by the town council.
During the program, with a duration of nine months, a three-month training period and a six-month internship period alternate, during which time contracts for training and paid learning with 75% are subscribed with the participants. of the minimum interprofessional salary.
The participants, who until now were unemployed, receive guidance, advice and professional information throughout the entire project, which enables them to search for employment for others, as well as for self-employment. .
It should be noted, finally, that once finished the student-workers will obtain a Certificate of Professionalism level 2.
