This morning the I Week of Science and Technology was inaugurated in the IES Europe;
an initiative of the educational center with which it is intended, on the one hand, that the students of the center can see the practical application of the knowledge they acquire in the classroom and, on the other hand, disseminate science in a playful and attractive way.
Thus, in the sports hall of the center different stands have been installed in which the students themselves are in charge of making known to their classmates different practices and experiments that they have prepared together with the teachers of the center.
The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, has visited all the stands installed this morning accompanied by the mayor of Education, Cristóbal Casado, the director of the Center, Ismael Lucena, as well as different teachers who have participated in the project.
At the end of the visit, both Moreno and Casado have insisted on the importance of developing in the educational centers active methodologies that, like this one, allow the students to experience and experience the acquired knowledge.
