This morning at the IES Rey Carlos III, the students participating in the eTwinning project received the diplomas to obtain the National and European Quality Seal awarded in 2018 to the last two projects carried out at the center, " Les Ambassadeurs de l'UNESCO: Mon patrimoine, mon identité ", chosen as one of the examples of good eTwinning practices for the variety of activities and the treatment of the theme, and" Twinsketches ", collaborative writing project of sainetes that criticize the society, also second national prize in Romania.
The event, which was attended by the first deputy mayor, Tomás Consentino, in addition to the students and their families, was preceded by a presentation by María José Sánchez, a French teacher and director of this project, who made a tour of his experience in eTwinning since it began in 2009. He highlighted the evolution of the projects in terms of objectives and number of participating classes, as well as the increasing involvement of teachers from other subjects.
Special attention has been given to the "Twinlettres" project, deserving in 2017 the fourth National and European Quality Seal of the center and selected in 2018 "European Prize of French Language".
Thanks to this continuous effort, the IES Rey Carlos III is one of the 90 Spanish centers awarded as eTwinning Center from the European Commission, and that the projects go forward by the commitment of the participants.
This educational platform of more than 600,000 teachers allows the use of language to create, collaborate and promote citizen values.
After the delivery, Restoration students offered us an eTwinning breakfast.
There are currently two projects underway together with Greece, Tunisia, Belgium and Romania: "TwinTV" and "Vol 2070", where students investigate the past (oral tradition) and the present to reflect on the future.
