The Hermanos Buitrago field will reopen its doors next week after an important performance improvement, as announced by the mayor of Sports, Cristóbal Casado, in a recent visit to the facilities made with the first mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno.
In this sense, Casado pointed out that, "although it was expected that the work would conclude this week, the strong gusts of wind in recent days have delayed the performances for a few days".
With an investment of close to 186,000 euros, the improvement project consisted of a change in the irrigation system and, subsequently, the substitution of artificial grass, responding to the demand of the different clubs that train there.
In this sense, the mayor of Sports said that "the commitment of the Department with sports and local athletes is clear and in that line is where we have been working, improving the facilities and services offered in them."
