Águilas will host next July the 20th Anniversary of the Beach Volleyball Championship for deaf people, as announced by the Mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, after a meeting held with representatives of the Association of Deaf People of Lorca and Shire, to which also attended the mayor of Sports, Cristóbal Casado.
The sports competition, on the occasion of its twentieth anniversary, will be included in a more extensive program, which will run throughout a weekend, and will include an exhibition on the history of beach volleyball, as well as a humor festival that will feature the participation of the comedian deaf John Smith, the clown Aldo Oscar and a visual comic theater show by Joklo Clown.
