The mayor of Águilas and mayor of Agriculture, Mari Carmen Moreno, yesterday visited the Koppert facilities in the municipality;

a world leader company in the biological control of agricultural pests and natural pollination, present in more than 80 countries and that from the aquiline delegation exports to a large number of them.

During the tour of the same, Moreno stressed that "local agriculture is at the forefront of biological control of pests", while reiterating the importance of agriculture "as a fundamental sector of the local economy."
