The City Hall of Águilas recently hosted an act of recognition to Mario Valcárcel, sergeant of the Civil Guard, Gonzalo José Ruiz, agent of the Civil Guard, and José Antonio García, deputy chief of the Local Police, for the work carried out in the past summer in the course of an operation that ended with the arrest of two people, accused of arson with a risk to people and arson with the intention to defraud.
During the act of recognition, the first mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, highlighted "the good work done, fruit, to a large extent, of the magnificent coordination in the locality have the Local Police and Civil Guard."
The mayor also took this act to convey his "congratulations to Local Police and Civil Guard, not only for this operation but also for the magnificent daily work they do in the municipality and the great service they provide to the aquiline citizens".
