The students of the City of the Sea participate, together with the users of Afemac, in a nest boxes workshop for birds (14/02/2019)

The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of Environment, Isabel María Torrente, participated this morning, at the Ciudad del Mar school, in a workshop for building nest boxes for birds.

The workshop, included within the Program Naturally of the Association Afemac and with the collaboration of the Department of the Environment, promotes the construction, on the part of schoolchildren from Aguilas and following the indications of the users of Afemac who exercise as monitors, of these shelters for birds.

After finishing the workshop, the nests made have been placed inside the school grounds to favor the nesting of the birds this spring.
