The Government Team of the Águilas City Council has expressed its satisfaction with the Regional Government's intention to tender a direct bus connection with the Murcia International Airport;
a news that the Aquiline Consistory knew this morning through the media.
In this sense, the first aquiline mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, despite regretting that the City Council has learned about this news through the press and not through official sources of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Development, has positively assessed "that We have listened to the requests of this City Council, which last month requested in the Plenary the start-up of this service, as well as the tourism sector of the town who also requested such connection ".
In the same line, Moreno asked the regional executive "agility in the public tender to make this connection between a tourist town like Águilas and the airport become a reality as soon as possible."
