The Águilas City Council has joined the technical conference, organized by the Directorate General of Regional and Urban Policy of the European Union and the Ministry of Finance.
The workshops, as pointed out by the technician of Economic-Financial Management of the City of Águilas, Diego Mª Martínez, aim to work on the indicators that the European Commission will require both Águilas and the rest of the cities selected to carry out actions of sustainable urban development financed with ERDF funds.
The main objective of these previous actions is to guarantee total transparency in the management of European funds, ensuring, in addition, that they all revert to beneficial actions for citizens;
all under the premise that any breach of the obligations set by the European Commission in regard to the management thereof may lead to the loss of these ERDF grants.
