Yesterday, the headquarters of Looije, hosted one of the traditional acts of Carnival: the "weighing" of the characters, adults and children, in front of the media.

An act attended by, among others, the mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, the mayor of Carnaval, Cristóbal Casado, and the president of the Peñas Federation, José Alonso.

In this sympathetic act, Don Carnal, Doña Cuaresma, La Musa and Mussona, both children and adults, receive their weight in products from the land donated by various collaborating companies.

So the Carnival characters left with a good supply of sea bream, sea bass, tomatoes, cherrys, broccoli, lettuce, tangerines, nuts and pickles.
