The president of the Community, Fernando López Miras, attended today the first great parade of comparsas and floats of the Carnival of Águilas, a festival declared of International Tourist Interest "that project the image of the Region of Murcia all over the world," he said.
"From the regional government we will continue to care for, protect and promote the Eagles Carnival as one of the best attractions to come to visit from any corner of the world," said the regional chief executive, who stressed that "with the Murcia International Airport in March will have it easier ".
