This weekend has concluded the XVIII Carnival Regatta - VI Estrella de Levante Trophy, organized by the Águilas Nautical Club in collaboration with the Hotel Puerto Juan Montiel, with an inscription of 47 cruises, of which 39 have completed the tests and more of 300 sailors.
Two days of competition, two different conditions of wind and sea.
While the test on Sunday, February 24, was played with a east wind of between 10 and 12 knots and stretched sea, which provided a magnificent spectacle, on Saturday, March 2, only a gentle breeze allowed the start of the second round not being enough to complete the tour and suspend after an hour of competition for total calm.
The spring temperature contributed to sailors and fans enjoying a few days of Carnival, as well as the program of events that the Nautical Club of Águilas prepared in collaboration with Estrella de Levante with a village in its marina
