The Advanced Sanitary Post of the Spanish Red Cross in Águilas, located in the Port of the city for the celebration of Carnival 2019, has been the setting chosen by Sergio Rodríguez Carbonell, Head of the SASEMAR Tower in Cartagena to deliver to the mayor of the city, Mari Carmen Moreno, of a metope in recognition of her collaboration with the State Society of Maritime Rescue and Safety.
As exceptional witnesses, representatives of all the bodies of emergencies and security forces involved in the exercise, Navy, Customs Surveillance Service, Civil Guard, General Directorate of Emergencies of the Autonomous Community, Maritime Rescue and Spanish Red Cross.
Not in vain both the bay of Levante and that of Poniente de Águilas have hosted these drills at sea in recent years.
