This morning, Looije, the agricultural company specializing in cherry tomatoes, has delivered to the Animal Protector Aguiproan, of all the products that their workers, in a disinterested way, donated in the solidarity breakfasts of February 26.
In total, the employees of the company have contributed more than 150 kilos of feed and other food, 35 kilos of cat litter, as well as cleaning utensils, blankets, toys or feeders.
The act of delivery took place this morning in the new facilities of Looije in the Industrial Park 'El Labradorcico' and has had the presence of the mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno;
the president of Aguiproan, Marina Cook;
the general director of Looije OP, Juan José López;
and Blanca Carvajal, worker of the company and promoter of the initiative.
The first mayor has congratulated Looije for his contribution and has highlighted the work carried out every day by Aguiproan, pledging to "continue to support from the Town Hall the improvement of its facilities, so that the animals are in the best conditions".
Marina Cook, likewise, has assured that she is "delighted" with the initiative carried out by the agricultural company.
"Maybe it's a drop, but to us, drop by drop, it makes us a lot," said the president of Aguiproan.
