More than 350,000 people, according to estimates, have passed through �guilas during the two central weeks of Carnival, dates in which the cleaning services collected 80,940 kilos of garbage more than last year;

an increase that is one of the data that for the aquiline Consistory serves as indicative of the greater affluence of assistants that the great festival of Eagles has registered during this edition.

Data to which must also add those provided by the Tourist Office in which there has been an increase of 41.32% in the influx of visitors, as well as that offered by the hotel sector, who also refer to a recorded increase in sales close to 18%.

The mayor of �guilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, was in charge of publicizing these data during a press conference in which she was accompanied by the mayor of Carnaval, Crist�bal Casado, and the president of the Pe�as Federation, Jos� Alonso

All of them have coincided in evaluating "very positively" the Carnival 2019;

some parties that "have passed without notable incidents".

In this sense, and despite the increase in the influx of visitors, the mayor wanted to highlight the "magnificent development of the party," while thanking "the excellent work done by all the troops who have participated in the Specific Plan of Emergencies, developed its work quickly, coordinated and effectively ".

With regard to the staff of the special cleaning operation, coordinated by the Department of Service Providers, it should be noted that there has been a staff of sixty dedicated exclusively to the special service of Carnival, as well as eight trucks to wash for the fourth consecutive year they have used a mixture of disinfectant and deodorizing products.

In addition, the cleaning service has been restarted in the portable toilets that have had four operators dedicated exclusively to the continuous cleaning of the same.

Before concluding the meeting with the media, the mayor, the mayor of Carnival and the president of the Federation agreed to note "the magnificent work done by the clubs of Carnival, as well as the characters of our party that, once again, They have shown that they are the true architects of making our party grow year after year ".

Finally, the mayor also referred to the magnificent work done by photographers, journalists and the media for the excellent local, regional and national coverage of the Eagles Carnival.
