The Colegio María Inmaculada de Águilas invited José Antonio Marina, philosopher, writer and pedagogue, on March 14 to have a meeting at the Auditorium "Infanta Dña Elena" with different agents of education.
He is the leader since 2005 of the movement "Educational Mobilization" and does so from the deep conviction that education should be the engine and driver of the best of each person.
His rigorous commitment, systematized scientific and love of the person, have led him to be a reference that opens paths and spaces for reflection in defining fundamental elements to promote one of the most noble and just work, the educational task.
His meeting with the teachers of the various centers of the town, parents, representatives of the administration and people who are somehow very close to education, was marked by the story of the experience and the visible reality of who is an expert in what it transmits.
His theory of talent or the good use of intelligence, which is how he defines it, developed from the social situation in which we are involved and directing the focus to the need to promote the development of learning capacity , from the executive functions of the intelligence and always from the ethical dimension.
"It is necessary to talk about the learning society", are words of José Antonio Marina, which lead us to rethink the educational system, educational action, and expand spaces in which it can develop.
