The House of Culture Francisco Rabal this week hosted the ninth edition of the International Festival Grito de Mujer, included in the program of events organized by the Department of Equality to mark the commemoration of International Women's Day, a day that was held last 8 of March.
The event, consisting of a Festival of Poetry and Art, had five participants who, under the slogan "Cry for me", put their voices at the service of equality and freedom.
Poetry and music followed one another during an act that ended with the unanimous applause of all the attendees.
After the act the mayor of Equality, Isabel Mara Torrente, gave all participants a diploma for their collaboration in this project.
