Águilas this weekend became the capital of school sports with the celebration of the Regional Final Team Cadet, organized by the Directorate General of Sports of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports with the collaboration of the City of Águilas and the Board Municipal Sports
In masculine basketball, the match for the title faced the IES Los Albares (Cieza) against the CC El Taller (Molina de Segura), achieving, finally, the ciezanos the victory by 38-26.
Also in basketball, the females of the Maristas La Merced de Murcia won a wide victory against the Madre de Dios (Lorca) with a score of 58-8.
In handball, the male cadets of Archbishop Lozano (Jumilla) won 34-13 against Salvador Sandoval (Torres de Cotillas), while in the female category it was Jesús María's Murcia who climbed to the top of the podium after a game that he faced Los Albores (Cieza) and finished with a 9-5 in the light.
Futsal was another of the modalities disputed in the Regional Final Cadet by Teams.
In this discipline were the players of the IES Engineer of the Cierva (Murcia) which were imposed on the IES Domingo Valdivieso with a tight victory (3-2).
In the men's category the match was also very close, won, finally, those of Monteagudo (Murcia) against Lorca IES Francisco Ros Giner (4-3).
The same scoreboard left the women's and men's volleyball matches, with a 2-0 victory that gave the players of the Sagrada Familia of Cartagena, who measured forces with Carlos III de Águilas, and with the ciezanos of Los Albores that faced The Mills of Cartagena.
