This weekend, Eagles added to the commemoration of the International Day of the Gypsy People with a program of activities organized by the Town Council of the town and the Pochibo Caló Association.
The events began at the door of the City Council, on whose balcony the gypsy flag waved throughout the day, with the reading of the institutional manifesto of the Fundación Secretariado Gitano by the mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and various members of the association Pochibo Caló
After the most institutional part of the event, all the attendees went to the Royal Scale where the symbolic "river ceremony" took place, in memory of the victims of the Second World War.
The program of activities was completed, already in the House of Culture, with a photographic exhibition, a projection of the work of the students of the computer workshop, another sample of the work done in the sewing workshop and a brunch lunch enlivened for the performances of La Morería and Sonikete.
