This weekend, Águilas became the capital of handball with the celebration of Sector G of the Spanish Handball Championship;
a whole weekend in which the matches between the Primaflor BM-Águilas, the BM Alcobendas Academy, Elche DBM Pumps and Conservas Al Sur Antequera have taken place.
A thrilling competition that concluded yesterday with the presentation of trophies during an event in which the mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, was present.
It was the Alcobendas players who managed to climb to the top of the podium, adding 6 points after two victories.
The second place went to the Elche players, while Conservas Al Sur Antequera finished third.
The aquilines of the Primaflor BM-Águilas failed to score any points despite the magnificent game played in the matches played.
The trophy for the best player in the sector was awarded to Adrián Tejo, a player at the BM Alcobendas Academy.
Without a doubt, it has been a great event that local players have a great experience that will prepare them for the jump to the next category.
It is worth noting the enormous effort that the Eagles Handball Club carries out throughout the season in all its categories.
