The Águilas City Council, in collaboration with the parks and gardens company STV Gestión, has installed, on the occasion of Holy Week, a flower more than three meters high in the Plaza de España.
"For us it is very important to see the beauty of our green areas and the colors that this municipality has, so we decided to bet on creating floral sculptural eta composed of 3,000 copies of natural flowers, in this case of 'siempreviva'" , explains the mayor of Services Rendering Companies Isabel Fernández.
Some flowers that are supported on a metal and poliespan structure made in collaboration with the local company LibélulaArt.
The idea, made by the company STV Gestión in collaboration with the Consistory, will allow aquilines and visitors to get up close and personal with this 'great specimen' of different colors and striking presence.
The flowers that have been placed will remain for approximately fifteen days and due to its long duration (it is a cut plant) it will not be necessary to carry out the replacement during this time of any of the more than 3000 specimens that form it.
