During the Holy Week dates there are many people who take advantage of these days to conduct days of coexistence on the beaches of the town, enjoying the traditional "monas".
In this sense, and with the aim of contributing to a better development of this festive and leisure period, a safety and cleaning campaign consisting of equipping the beaches of Matalentisco, Higuerica, El Charco (Sombrerico) will be launched. and Rice with: Panels with telephone signs of interest for the users' knowledge;
chemical toilets;
containers for collecting all types of waste;
alternative visits of Local Police patrols, Civil Guard, Civil Protection and Red Cross;
as well as distribution of garbage bags and ashtrays.
The purpose of this operation is to give security, especially to young people, to achieve a better enjoyment of their days as monkeys, and families to transmit the peace of mind that they will enjoy assistance that will help, if necessary, have the best and more immediate response to their demands.
In the same line, the mayor of Public Safety, Vicente Ruiz, recalled that the practice of camping during the monas is not allowed in any of the urban beaches of the town;
that is, it can not be carried out on beaches such as Calabardina, Calarreona, Hornillo, Delicias and Colonia.
