The students of Primary Education of all the educational centers of the locality have participated this morning in an act organized by the Councilorship of Culture of the City council of Eagles on the occasion of the celebration of the Day of the Book.
The children of the different educational centers of the town have read their traditional stories, the theme chosen for this day of the Book Day.
The mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of Culture, Lucía Hernández, attended this recital that ended with the delivery of a batch of books for the different participating centers and a book for the children.
The programmed activities will continue this afternoon at the Casa de Cultura where, from 6.30 pm, the students of the Adult Education Center and the Women's Center will develop the activities "My grandmother tells me", "Once upon a time ... colored red" and "Don Quixote in the kitchen".
Another outstanding event will be the presentation of the book La encantada de Tébar and other stories from the Sierra de Almenara by Pablo Díaz, an act that will take place at 8:00 pm at the Francisco Rabal Culture House.
At the end of it will begin the musical performance of Pedro Javier Martínez Albentosa and Francisco Pérez, Sing me a story.
