Águilas will host, on Saturday, May 4, the First National Tomato Congress that under the title "Strategies and New Commercial Opportunities", Asaja has organized with the collaboration of the Department of Agriculture of the City of Águilas.
The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, the president of Asaja, José Martínez, and the journalist expert in communication and marketing agroalimentario, Francisco Seva, were responsible for publicizing the details of this congress to be held in the Auditorium and Palace of Congresos Infanta Doña Elena.
What is intended with this first congress is to make known the importance of tomato growing in our region for which there is an important list of speakers.
During the act Moreno "thanked the election of Águilas as a place for the realization of this Congress that - he assured - I hope it will be the first of many others".
