The town of Águilas Murcia, will be the stage on Saturday May 4 of the First National Congress of Tomato, promoted by ASAJA Murcia, Marketing of companies and Ingenioo Studio and collaborate the City of Águilas, ASAJA Murcia and ASAJA Almería.
According to José Martínez Quiñonero, President of ASAJA Águilas, "this first congress could almost be international, due to the high quality of the speakers who will participate in it.
Personalities such as Rosa María Robles, General Director of FEDISPROVE (Federation of Vegetable Protection Distributors), will address the importance of phytosanitary products in the tomato sector, together with Oliver Huesmann, Director of Fruit Consulting Hong Kong, who will speak about new business opportunities for Tomato from Spain.
Likewise, topics of great interest will also be addressed, such as the advice to agribusinesses of tomato by the Agronomist Irene Guillen Luna, and the water footprint in this sector, analyzed by an expert such as Marco Antonio Oltra Cámara, Doctor Agronomist and Professor at the University of Alicante ".
In addition, Martínez Quiñonero also points out that "we will also have Pascual Soler, President of ASAJA Almería, who will explain the present and future of the tomato industry in Almería".
Free entrance
The Congress is open to both producers and companies, cooperatives and agricultural technicians, with free admission, and will be held in the Auditorium and Conference Center Infanta Doña Elena de Águilas.
At the end of the Congress, a cocktail meal will be offered to all attendees.
