The municipality of Águilas has hosted during this weekend the Copa del Rey and the Queen and the Spanish Triathlon Relay Championship, beating all the records of participation with more than 4 thousand athletes.
The Cidade de Lugo Fluvial has been the great winner with the double crown won by his women's team, who have won the Copa de la Reina and the National Relay, and the men who have been the winners today in the Relays.
Murcia, Natalia Hidalgo, was part of the winning team of the Copa de la Reina yesterday rising to the top of the podium where also was the Ceheginera, Laura Durán, with her team Saltoki Diquesí Trikideak who won the bronze medal.
The second position of the podium went to the Naútico de Narón.
In the men's category, the winners of the Copa del Rey were the members of the University of Alicante.
The second place was for the Diablillos de Rivas and the third position was the boys of the Cidade de Lugo Fluvial.
The Murcian teams also played the Regional Team Time Trial Triathlon that had the clubs of CT Águilas Primaflor and Bitec Tri Impulso as female and male champions, respectively.
The team of Águilas formed by Amelia Ayuso, María López, María del Rocío López, Ana Bas, Laura Salas and María Salas signed a time of 1 hour, 16 minutes and 24 seconds.
The silver medal was for the CT Murcia Unidata whose team was integrated by Miriam Fuentes, Sonia Gomez, Andrea Marco, Gema Contreras, Susana Ocaña and Patricia Lopez stopped the clock in 1 hour, 17 minutes and 56 seconds.
The third position was for the Bitec Tri Impulso with Marta Belmonte, Cristina Moreno, Beatriz Garcia, Ana Belén Lentijo and Alba Jorquera whose time in goal was 1 hour, 21 minutes and 56 seconds.
As for the men, the winning team was formed by Antonio Luis Alcaraz, Francisco José Parra, Adrián de Paco, Francisco Javier Quirantes, Francisco García and Sergio Martínez, who made a time of 1 hour, 3 minutes and 48 seconds.
The second position was for the CT Murcia Unidata with Germán Díaz, Julio Sánchez, Daniel Pla, Jose Gabriel Albaladejo, Pedro Barbudo and Javier Alburquerque who made a time of 1 hour, 3 minutes and 50 seconds.
The third place was for the Aguilas Primaflor team with Andrés Méndez, Raul, Nono, Velasco, Germán Valero and Gabriel Rojo and a time of 1 hour, 4 minutes and 29 seconds.
