With these words the current mayor of Aguilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, announced one of the highlights included in the electoral program with which the socialist attends the elections next Sunday and that passes through the cession to the Federation of Peñas de Carnival of a municipal land that allows the construction of the infrastructures that the rocks require.

The cession, by agreement with the Federation of Peñas, of a parcel of municipal ownership will allow to respond to the main demand of the clubs of Carnival that is to have a space suitable to the needs that the elaboration of floats and costumes supposes.

"We are aware of the enormous economic and personal effort involved in the clubs to take to the streets a Carnival of which we are all proud, so I believe that, from the institutions and the hand of the Federation of Peñas, we have to offer them a decent place in which they can carry out this work and we are going to do it ", said Moreno who four years ago already made clear his commitment to our international party with the creation, for the first time, of the Department of Carnival.
