The Association of People and Families with Mental Illness of Eagles and Region (AFEMAC), has participated for the fourth consecutive year in the events held in the Murcia capital to commemorate the "International Day of the Family", a date that is celebrated throughout the world and whose main objectives are to become aware of the importance of the family as a basic unit of society and to help ensure the well-being and dignity of all its members.
The event was held in the capital of Murcia, on Sunday, May 19 at the Parque de la Seda, and was organized by the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities and the City of Murcia.
Associates, family members and workers went to the place to enjoy a playful morning in the company of the other participating associations, coming from all points of the region.
The program of activities included, among others, live theater, batukada and exhibition of the Canine Unit of the National Police.
Afemac had a stand in which he was making his well-known "seed bombs", a piece of clay with a seed of an autochthonous tree in his interior, which was very attractive for visitors, especially children who did not hesitate to participate actively in environmental activity.
