During the week of May 6 to 10, our French students from the IES King Carlos III de Águilas expanded their knowledge about Europe and democracy in a fun way through online tests, including Kahoot.
We also reflect on the Europe we want for the future and we made clouds of words thanks to Wordart.
The members of the team of French teachers prepared an exhibition with images of our four eTwinning projects this year, accompanied by a sample of word clouds, as well as winning works of our literary contest about Europe around storytelling and poetry.
On May 9, as it has been happening in recent years, our center celebrated in a special way.
On the one hand, María José Sánchez, the eTwinning coordinating professor, made a presentation to explain to the CCP professors the pedagogical and professional possibilities offered by this platform.
For another ... Well no, this time we do not join together to sing but to enjoy the delicious dishes typical of the countries of our eTwinning partners, with whom we work this year: (besides Spain, of course, Greece, Italy, Romania , France and Tunisia, the latter country that, although not European, also collaborates in the project).
Thanks to the financial support of our Association of Parents and Students and the good work of our Basic FP Cooking and Restoration teams, both teachers and students, it was possible to make this appetizing and creative gastronomic activity.
In addition, the event was covered by a team of reporters from our TwinTV project, who took advantage of several interviews to gather the opinion of the attendees.
The dishes disappeared literally in less than an hour (they were so good ...!) But around sixty people had the opportunity to enjoy them.
The French department of the IES Rey Carlos III appreciates the collaboration of all those (Vocational Training, AMPA, management team, eTwinning students) that made this special celebration possible on May 9.
