The mayor of Sports of the City of Águilas, Cristóbal Casado, together, among others, Alonso Gómez, general director of Sports, Juan Francisco Montiel, manager of Puerto Deportivo Juan Montiel, and Francisco Álvarez, president of the Murcian Fishing Federation, presented yesterday the 2nd National Fishing Championship in Kayac to be held in the town next weekend.

During the presentation press conference, Montiel, organizer of the event with the collaboration of the City Council, highlighted "the important commitment that is being made in recent years to bring up to Águilas championships of this magnitude, translating this into an important boost of sports tourism "

For his part, the mayor of Sports stressed that "the good organization of the first edition of this championship has led for the second year in a row is Águilas who welcomes it."

Regarding the event, a total of seventeen teams from four autonomous communities have confirmed their attendance so far.
