The acting mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, yesterday handed out the diplomas of the sewing, cutting and sewing course, organized by the City Council of Águilas and included in the Plan for the Development of the Gypsy People of the Murcian Institute of Social Action (IMAS ).
The action, which has had the collaboration of the Pochibo Caló association, has pursued the main purpose of promoting the promotion of the collective, its development, participation and social integration, and preventing exclusion, while promoting the improvement of the qualification and access to employment for the Roma population; and, on the other hand, women who participate in it are offered a space for meeting and coexistence.
