The Municipal Board of the neighborhood "Huerta de la Roja", in collaboration with the Department of Citizen Participation, has scheduled for next weekend a neighborhood festival to be held in the Plaza de la Región de Murcia on the occasion of the feast of the region.
The activities will start on Friday at 8 pm with an exhibition of the Karate Águilas Club and the performance, at 8:30 pm, of the magician Javi Martínez.
It is expected that on Friday, at 21.45, the official opening of the festivities will be held with the presence of the municipal authorities.
The day will be completed with the performance of the singer Esmeralda.
On Saturday at 5:00 pm the parties of the neighborhood will start again with a party of foam for the little ones, after which a great chocolate and a storytelling performance will be developed to conclude with the Yomaje group.
On Sunday the activities will continue with a giant paella at 14.30 (donation 3 euros).
In the afternoon, between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm, there will be a mechanical bull championship and a solidarity event to benefit the Urci Occupational Center.
The end of the festival will be the responsibility of the Cuadrilla de la Cuesta de Gos who will perform at 9:00 p.m.
The mayor of Participación Ciudadana in functions, Luis López, has invited all citizens to participate in a celebration that, they have assured, "allows the neighbors to fraternize and strengthen ties".
